Who we are

Danielle Thomas

Joe Baynham

Nic Crisp

Reflexology therapist
Breathwork instructor
Conference speaker

Danielle has been a beauty therapist and reflexologist for the past 7 years.

She retrained whilst pregnant with her first child after a 10 year career in Sales. After having her second child who was diagnosed with a heart defect she started to look into holistic health practices not to replace medicine but to help aid with anxiety stress depression pain and grief.

When exploring the Wellness world she noticed that people do not look after themselves, not prioritising their mental and physical health, mainly because they feel selfish for taking the time to do so. She is the creative force behind our Wellness Retreats, keeping them accessible in terms of price to capture the people who truly need the time to spend on themselves.

Joe is a Wim Hof Method Certified Instructor, qualified breathwork teacher and assistant freediving coach. Joe runs Community Sauna sessions in a stunning woodland setting and is passionate about the benefits of sauna/ice, nature and bringing together kindred spirits.

A combination of stress from work, relationships and anxiety combined with a loss of confidence led Joe to experience burnout. He found the Wim Hof Method as part of his recovery and went on to undertake his instructor training with Wim Hof in Poland.

Joes philosophy is "where the breath goes, the mind and body will follow."

By understanding this people are able to change how they think and feel, right now, through the power of the breath to relax, refocus, rebalance and restore.

Nic is a lover of learning, developing people, Essex and New Zealand. For the past 14 years she has run a successful consulting and coaching practice, Head and Heart Leadership. 7 years ago she started learning, practicing and training with Atarangi Muru (Maori Healers) in both New Zealand and Europe.

Her revelation came from a deeper understanding of the body, its relationship to the mind and our emotional realm. Something she recognised in herself and those she coached. Where there is stress, fear, disconnect or an inner conflict at play,

it tends to show up in the shoulders, back, stomach or as sleeplessness from an overthinking mind. All detrimental to resilience over time. Nic now shares 2 kinds of Maori Bodywork designed to calm and ground, body and mind.

Our Therapies

Reflexology

Reflexology involves applying pressure to specific reflex points which correspond to different organs and systems in the body. It promotes relaxation, improves circulation, reduces stress and supports the body's natural healing processes. Danielle offers Reflexology for both feet and hands - and be prepared to be amazed at what she can pick up!

Romi Romi

Experience Traditional Maori Bodywork with Nic and Carlos. In Maori, Ro means internal, Mi is to agitate. Romi Romi is designed to release any aches or stress we hold in the body and calm the mind. We use hands, feet, knees and elbows to work pressure points in the body to wake it up, shift our energy and strengthen our presence.

Yoga / Pilates

We have a team of professional dancers/instructors on the team who lead incredibly popular yoga and pilates sessions at our retreats and in the local community. We offer a range of workshops designed to empower guests to try varying difficulty levels in a safe space.

Breathwork

Experience the power of the breath with Joe who offers speaking engagements, experiential workshops and downloadable audio sessions. Try the Wim Hof method for a more intense experience or Blissful Breathwork for a gentle way to relax, refocus, rebalance and restore.  Both offer practical tools to take away and use to instantly calm oneself and others.

Mahi Rakau

Maori self help/self healing practice with Nic and Carlos. In this workshop we use wooden dowels to work pressure points in the feet. We work the feet to clear the body of any aches, pains and stress - and to deepen our connection to what our body really needs. Rakau hand carved by Carlos available to take home.

What others say...

"This was my second wellness retreat and I took my sister.
It was amazing! The therapists, the talks and the food was brilliant.
The value for money and the company is second to none. I went home feeling so relaxed and calm. Would highly recommend doing this either on your own or with friends as everyone is so welcoming and warm.

So much thought, time and energy goes into making these retreats happen.
None of this would be possible without the dedication of Danielle and her team ❤️"
